Our strengths lie in VA behavioral health services, substance abuse counseling, psychological assessment and treatment for victims of crime, domestic violence, and sexual abuse. With our highly experienced team of Licensed Doctors (PhD), PhD Interns, licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (MFT), and MFT interns, patients are given the very best in recovery and a strong foundation to become well-adjusted individuals.

Before the establishment of this organization on March 2009, CEO Elisa Jimenez envision California Mental Health Connection. She is well known in Mexico for her talented work in the field of mental health, and has published multiple books. Director Jimenez founded “Centro de Atencion para la Mujer”, known as The Center of Attention for Women, to help women, as well as their families cope with complex trauma.

LA County D.A. Commendation

LA County D.A. Commendation

On April 26, 2012 the District Attorney of Los Angeles County honored us with a Commendation for our dedicated assistance and delivery of valuable services to crime victims and benefiting the citizens of Los Angeles County. We strive to “Extend the Vision” and “Reach Every Victim” by providing comprehensive psychological care and counseling services for victims of crime in the San Gabriel Valley, East Los Angeles and surrounding areas.

Our team also provides complex trauma training for therapists, as well as clinical hours towards licensure in the state of California.
